MADC Company

The Company will be for the dancer who truly wants to train at the pre-professional level. These are the dancers who want to commit their time and effort to pursue dance post-high school. These dancers will take the required classes to develop into well-rounded artists and performers.

MADC Company Members are eligible for solos, duos/trios, and small groups, and will rehearse these on Saturdays. The MADC Company Members will also be in the Mack Elite Group dances that rehearse during the week. The MADC Company Members will participate in all scheduled events and competitions/conventions.

Mack Elite Program

The Mack Elite Program will be divided into 3 groups: Mack Elites ages 12+, Junior Macks ages 9-12, and Mini Macks ages 5.5-8 (invite only). The Mack Elite program will be for dancers who want the experience of a competitive performing group but may also want to explore other activities. They want more than the recreational program, but do not want to commit to the Company level. Rehearsals will be built in during the week after Jazz technique class.

Mack Elite members are not eligible for solos (unless graduating senior), duo/trio, or small groups. Mack Elite Members will have fewer required technique classes throughout the week, with the option to add on electives.

The MAD Crew

The Mack Avenue Dance Crew (MAD Crew) will be a hip hop/jazz funk crew 11+. This is for the dancer who wants to be a part of a dance crew but is not interested in training in ballet or contemporary. They will compete in the competition-only event and perform in local community events and showcases. Their only required classes are 1 Jazz class and 1 Hip Hop Class.

Requirements:

Dancers ages 7 and up are eligible for this program based on audition and/or director recommendation.  Progression into and within MACK PAC depends on the skill of the dancer and his/her ability to consistently demonstrate the correct alignment, strong technique, and ability to take corrections necessary to move efficiently and safely.
